Norxten Technologies Inc. (hereinafter, “Norxten”) is a federally incorporated Canadian company with an office in Quebec, Canada, and registered in Quebec.
Norxten Core is the mobile application, related web pages, backend services, and associated platform features operated by Norxten for general contractors and similar business users.
This Privacy Policy explains how Norxten collects, uses, discloses, stores, protects, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with Norxten Core.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected:
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, app stores, payment platforms, or third-party services that have their own privacy notices.
Norxten Core is a business software product. In many cases, the organization that subscribes to and administers Norxten Core determines what employee, contractor, project, receipt, and location data is entered into the platform.
Norxten may use personal information to:
Norxten Core may collect precise location data at specific work-related events, such as punch-in, punch-out, travel start, and arrival confirmations, in order to validate the integrity of the related work session or attendance record.
Based on the current product design, Norxten Core is not intended to continuously track a user’s location in the background.
If Norxten Core is used by an employer or another organization, that organization is responsible for ensuring any required workplace notices, permissions, consents, or authorizations are provided under applicable law.
Norxten Core supports two user roles: owner and employee. It offers plan-based access including Starter, Field, and Pro, as well as trial and grace access periods.
To authorized users within the same Customer organization, subject to the role and permissions structure of Norxten Core.
To vendors and service providers that help operate Norxten Core, including providers of cloud hosting and storage, database infrastructure, OCR or AI-assisted document processing, push notification delivery, subscription and billing management, app store purchase processing, analytics, monitoring, diagnostics, and support tools. These may include Supabase, OCR/AI processing providers, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Firebase, and Meta (Facebook) for advertising attribution and app install measurement.
Where required or permitted by law, including to comply with legal obligations, court orders, or lawful requests, and to investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
Norxten does not sell personal information.
Norxten and its service providers may process or store personal information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where Norxten or its service providers operate. Where required, Norxten uses contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards in connection with cross-border processing.
Norxten uses administrative, technical, contractual, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, misuse, or alteration. These may include encryption in transit, access controls, role-based restrictions, session/authentication controls, logging and monitoring, and limited internal access on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Norxten retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide Norxten Core, maintain operational and legal records, and comply with legal obligations. Deletion requests remain subject to legal, backup, security, dispute-resolution, and operational retention exceptions.
Users may initiate account deletion through Norxten Core or by contacting Norxten at privacy@norxten.com.
When an account deletion request is processed, Norxten may close the account, revoke access, delete or deactivate authentication credentials, remove device tokens, and delete or de-identify personal information where reasonably possible.
Because Norxten Core is a business application used for project, labour, receipt, invoice, accounting, audit, and compliance records, some information may be retained where necessary for legitimate business purposes, legal obligations, tax and accounting records, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup recovery, or to preserve the subscribing Customer organization’s operational records.
If an employee account is closed, historical work sessions, travel sessions, flags, timesheets, reports, and related project records may remain available to the Customer organization. The employee may be identified in historical records with a deleted-account marker so the Customer can preserve accurate business and labour records.
Consent and acknowledgement records are retained after account closure as pseudonymized audit records for legal and compliance purposes. The retained record includes a stable internal subject identifier and a pseudonymized email reference, but not plain authentication credentials.
Deletion requests remain subject to applicable legal, operational, backup, security, and retention exceptions. Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play — subscription management remains subject to the applicable platform’s rules.
